Hi. I'm Debbie Lan. I am a performing, recording, singing, song-writing, teaching artist/musician currently working with toddlers to seventh-graders. Having recorded and performed with many bands over the years, my favorite kind of performance is being the soundtrack to peoples' stories at a playback performance. I have been with HRPT since 1996.
I'm Penny Clayton. I graduated from the School of Playback Theatre in 2006 and have been performing with HRPT since 1998.  I am committed to deep listening and with playback theatre I have the tool for an artistic improvisational rendering of peoples' stories, combining creative expression and community service that is deeply satisfying.
Dean, of the Jones clan here. I have been working with HRPT since 1999 as musician. My other musical ventures include writing music for TV, film, and theatre. I am musical director/one-man band of a touring environmental puppet troupe, Arm of The Sea Theater.  I also play with a few bands: Dog on Fleas, Sonando, Uncle Buckle and Earmight.
I am Lauren Ardman. I am a long time resident of New Paltz and love my home and community. By day I work with special needs children as a school social worker. I am a graduate of the School of Playback Theatre and have been performing with HRPT since 1997.
I'm Jo Salas. I was a co-founder of the original Playback Theatre and founded HRPT in 1990 after the first company ended. I've now been doing PT for nearly 35 years and it's always newly challenging and rewarding. I'm also a teacher of Playback Theatre, which takes me to different companies around the world. I've written two books about Playback, edited a third, and have published a number of articles. I enjoy acting as well as conducting and playing music—recent roles include Tom Sawyer in a “One Book, One Town” show and a manipulative cat in our Pet Show.
